The doyen of classical Shehnai Vaadan, Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan Saheb one of the greatest musicians India has had. He was a true symbol of Indian secular fabric...a 5 time namaazi, who used to undergo his daily riyaz in Saraswati temples near the banks of holy Ganga.
His innocence which he carried throughout his life made him one of his kind. He truly had risen above the narrow walls made by us mortals, and rightly deserves to be reckoned as a great music magician.
